اگر آپ ونڈوز XP (سروس پیک 2 کے ساتھ (SP2)) استعمال کر رہے ہیں، تو آپ کو اردو کے مزید فونٹ کی ضرورت نہیں۔ البتہ اگر آپ چاہیں تو مزید فونٹ نصب کر سکتے ہیں۔ اردو کے فونٹ جو مفت دستیاب ہیں، ان میں [[نفیس فونٹ]] خاندان کے فونٹ نمایاں ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ درج ذیل میں "اردو نسخ ایشیا ٹائپ" کی تنصیب کا طریقہ دیا گیا ہے۔ یہ فونٹ کچھ ویب سائٹ پر تجویز کیا جاتا ہے۔ یہ فونٹ بی بی سی کی سائٹ سے قانونی طور پر حاصل کیا جا سکتا ہے۔ البتہ اس فونٹ کا بی بی سی کے علاوہ دوسری سائٹ پر تجویز کرنے کی قانونی حیثیت واضح نہیں۔ اردو وکیپیڈیا قارئین کے اس فونٹ کے استعمال کی ذمہ دار نہیں۔ نیچے دیا گیا طریقہ صرف معلوماتی طور پر دیا گیا ہے۔

It may only take a week or two to remember the keys but it will give you unmatched freedom from installing any other phonetic keyboard.
