ہثیم بن طارق آل سعید شاہی خاندان کے سربراہ ہیں۔ انہوں نے 1979 میں آکسفورڈ یونیورسٹی سے فارن سروس پروگرام میں گریجویشن کیا۔ ان کے والد طارق بن تیمور تھے جو سلطان تیمور بن فیصل کے بیٹے تھے۔ ان کے بھائی اسعد بن طارق بن تیمور آل سعید نائب وزیر اعظم ہیں۔
