امریکی جنگ انقلاب

امریکی جنگ انقلاب (American Revolutionary War) یا امریکی جنگ آزادی یا سادہ طور پر جنگ انقلاب سلطنت برطانیہ اور شمالی امریکا میں اس کے 13 نوآبادیاتی ریاستوں کے مابین ہونے والا مسلح تصادم تھا جنھوں نے خود کو ایک آزاد ملک ریستہائے متحدہ امریکا کا نام دیا تھا۔ لڑائی کی شروعات 1775ء میں بر اعظم شمالی امریکا سے شروع ہوئیں۔ سات سالہ جنگ (1756ء تا 1763ء) میں شکست کا بدلہ لینے کے لیے فرانس بھی اس جنگ میں اس نئی ریاست کا اتحادی بنا۔ اسی کے سبب ایک عظیم جنگ برطانیہ ،فرانس اسپین اور نیدرلینڈ کے مابین لڑئی گئی۔ ساتھ میں اس جنگ کے اثرات کا رخ ہندوستان بھی پہنچا جہاں برطانیہ اور فرانس کے اتحادی ریاست میسور سے لڑائی ہوئی۔ بعد میں ایک معاہدہ کے تحت برطانیہ لوئیس برگ سے دستبردار ہو گیا جبکہ فرانس ہندوستان میں مدراس (چنائی) سے دستبردار ہو گیا۔[19]
