قفقازی نسل

قفقازی نسل (Caucasian race) ایک تصور ہے جو تاریخی طور پر یورپ، شمالی افریقہ، قرن افریقہ، مغربی ایشیاء، وسطی ایشیاء اور جنوبی ایشیاء کی آبادی کے جسمانی یا حیاتیاتی قسم کی وضاحت کے لیے استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔^[1]^[2]^[3]

فطرت (2019) میں "یورپین جرنل آف ہیومن جینیٹکس" میں شائع ہونے والے حالیہ جینیاتی مطالعے سے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ مغربی ایشیا (عرب) ، یورپی ، شمالی افریقی ، جنوبی ایشین (ہندوستانی) اور کچھ وسطی ایشیائی باشندوں کا گہرا تعلق ہے۔ وہ سب سہارن افریقیوں یا مشرقی ایشیائی آبادیوں سے ممتاز ہو سکتے ہیں۔^[4]

مختلف جینیاتی اور بشری مطالعات سے یہ نتیجہ اخذ کیا گیا ہے کہ انسانی آبادی کے تین گروہ ہیں۔ یوآن 2019 نے پایا کہ انتھروپولوجک گروپ "کاکیسیڈ" (مغربی یوریشین سے متعلق) کی مخصوص جینیاتی خصلت ہے جو کاکیسیڈ ریس کے تصور کے مطابق ہے۔^[5]
