تمل ناڈو کے اضلاع کی فہرست

تمل ناڈو ریاست، بھارت کے جنوبی حصہ میں واقع ہے۔ حکومتی انتظامی سہولت کے لیے اسے 32 اضلاع میں تقسیم کیا گیا ہے۔ رقبہ کے لحاظ سے ویلوپورم ضلع سب سے بڑا اور آبادی اور کثافتِ آبادی کے لحاظ سے چینئی ضلع سب سے بڑا ضلع ہے۔
تاریخ

اگست 1947ء کی آزادی ہند کے بعد سابق برطانوی صوبہ مدراس پریذیڈنسی کا نام مدراس ریاست رکھا گیا۔ 1969ء میں مدراس ریاست کا نام سرکاری طور پر بدل کر تمل ناڈو رکھا گیا۔
- 1966: سیلم ضلع بانٹ کر دھرماپوری ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 1974: تیروچیراپلی ضلع اور تنجاؤر ضلع سے پدوکوٹائی ضلع تشکیل پایا
- 1979: کویمبتور ضلع سے ایروڈ ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 1985: راماناتھاپورم ضلع سے ورودھونگر ضلع اور شوا گنگا تشکیل دئے
- 1985: مدورائی ضلع سے دینڈیگل ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 1986: ترونیلویلی ضلع سے توتوکوڈی تشکیل دیا
- 1989: ترووناملائی ضلع split from North Arcot district
- 1991: چینگل پٹ ضلع سے کانچی پورم ضلع اور تروولووار ضلع تشکیل پائے
- 1991: تنجاؤر ضلع سے ناگاپٹینم ضلع اور تروارور ضلع تشکیل پائے
- 1993: کڈالور ضلع split from South Arcot district
- 1995: تیروچیراپلی ضلع سے کرور اور پیرمبلور تشکیل دئے
- 1996: مدورائی ضلع سے تھینی ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 1997: سیلم ضلع سے نمکل ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 2004: دھرماپوری ضلع سے کرشناگری ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 2007: پیرمبلور ضلع سے اریالو ضلع تشکیل دیا
- 2009: کوئمباتور اور ایروڈ اضلاع سے تیروپور ضلع تشکیل دیا
