This template is used to provide biographical information on anyone who might be considered a philosopher. If the philosopher held or holds a political or other public office (e.g. Alan Greenspan), {{Infobox officeholder}} is probably more suitable.

To use this template, copy the text above to the top of a biography article. Note that parameter names are lowercase.

Parameters

All parameters are optional, and if left blank will not appear in the infobox:

• era should be selected from زمرہ:فلسفہ بلحاظ دور
• region should be selected from زمرہ:فلسفہ بلحاظ خطہ
• school_tradition should be selected from زمرہ:فلسفیانہ روایات or فہرست مکاتب فکر فلسفہ
• Entries in influences, influenced, and notable ideas should be explained in the main text of one of the articles. Those that are not mentioned in the main text may be deleted.
• For living people supply only the year for birth date unless the exact date is already WIDELY published, as per ویکیپیڈیا:بقید حیات شخصیات کی سوانح نگاری. Treat such cases as if only the year is known, so use {{birth year and age}} or a similar option.
