Mononesh Das

Mononesh Das is a Bengali journalist and one of the leading personalities in journalism in Mymensingh. He has been doing journalism since the letterpress era in the Mymensingh region.

Early life

He was born on March 23, 1975, in Muktagachha Mujati village of the district.

Career

He is doing journalism in Daily Ittefaq, Dhaka Times Twenty-Four.com, BD News Blog (Citizen Journalism), Odhikar News, BD24Live, 24Ghonta News, and his news and pictures have been published in Daily Jugantar, Daily Amader Kantha, Daily Bhorer Kagoj, Jago News 24, Sangbad.net, Daily Dinkal, Daily Inqilab besides various newspapers.

He is the initiator of becoming the most qualified ideal journalist from downtown. His writings encourage people to be honest and prevent evil deeds. On May 28, 2017, the compassionate Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina came across a report in the DhakaTimes24.com (written by Mononesh Das) newspaper under the title of হতভাগা সেই মায়ের আশ্রয় গোয়ালঘর. As a product of citizen journalism, in just one week i.e. on June 4, the mother of Goalghar took charge of the prime minister under the title of investigative and follow-up reporting as a journalist.

Personal life

Mother Meera Das, wife Sampa Roy Das, daughter Supriya Das, and son Prabash Das live at Ishwargram house on Dispensary Road and Main Road in Muktagachha town.
