فونٹ کی تنصیب Install font ترمیم

NafeesWebNaskh.ttf زیراثقال کرو اور اسے Desktop راہنامچہ پر (یا کہیں اور) محفوظ کر لو۔ آپ کو NafeesWeb.zip ملف کو unzip کرنا ہو گا۔

For Ubuntu, simply do
$ sudo apt-get install ttf-nafees
others:

Download the font file "NafeesWebNaskh.ttf" from http://cle.org.pk/software/localization.htm and save it on the Desktop directory (or somewhere). You will need to unzip the "NafeesWeb.zip" file.

Download "Nafees Web Naskh" font, click here

  • Open the file manager
  • Navigate to the directory with the file "NafeesWeb.ttf"
  • Click on the file. FontViewer will popup. Click on "Install" button.


In the same fashion, download and install "Alvi Nastaleeq" font.

From "Applications Menu", select "settings" and then "keyboard." Go to "Layout" tab and uncheck "use system defaults." Add a keyboard layout from the popup list, "Urdu (Pakistan)" , expanding the list to select "Urdu (Pakistan, CRULP)". You can also pick other variant of the layout if you like. NOTE: The variant "urd-phonetic" may not be visible in the list. You can later select urd-phonetic by editing the xml file ~USERNAME/.config/xfce4/xfconf/panel/xkb-plugin-16.rc and replacing the word "crulp" by "phonetic"

 

You may have to install the Xfce keyboards-layout plugin [1] (if not already installed in your distro) in order to be able to switch between layouts.   You can also pick hot-keys for switching from the plugin.
