کارٹون
کارٹون (Cartoon) دو جہتی تصویری بصری فن کی ایک شکل ہے۔ اس کی مخصوص تعریف وقت کے ساتھ تبدیل ہوتی رہی ہے۔ جدید تعریف کے مطابق کارٹون عام طور پر ایک غیر حقیقی یا نیم غیر حقیقی ترسیم یا نقاشی جس کا مقصد طنز، بگاڑی ہوئی تصویر، مزاح یا اس طرح کے کاموں کا جمالیاتی طرز ہو سکتا ہے۔ وہ فنکار کارٹون تخلیق کرتا ہے اسے کارٹونسٹ کہا جاتا ہے۔
