The Article on Muhammad (PBUH)

You left a message in Persian on this article's discussion page. Although Persian and Urdu use very similar alphabets but are very different languages. Most people here on Urdu Wikipedia do not understand persian and so will not be able to respond to your message. If you do not speak Urdu, it will be more useful to leave a message in English instead.

I understand the issue you are pointing to and according to Wikipedia laws/conventions, you are correct. But on Urdu Wikipedia, we have barely 6 - 8 contributors who come with any frequency and most people here have never ever mentioned Muhammad's (PBUH) name without the adage. Pressing this issue will most likely mean losing even these few contributors.

In a recent discussion among regular users and admins, we decided to remove adages from all names, except the Judeo-Christian and Islamic prophets. The community is already moving in that direction and the result that you are looking for may happen in near future without anyone from outside of Urdu speaking community pressing on the rule. Please understand that it is a sensitive religious matter. It is better addressed with a discussion within the community.

I hope that you would understand and not press this issue for now in the best interest of Urdu Wikipedia.
