"جڑواں" کے نسخوں کے درمیان فرق

عام طور پر ایسے دو افراد کو کہا جاتا ہے جو ایک ہی دن پیدا ہوئے ہوں۔ ایسے افراد کی شکلیں بھی عموماً ملتی جلتی ہوتی ہیں۔ دو اکٹھے ہوئے شہروں کو بھی جڑواں کہا جاتا ہے جیسے [[راولپنڈی]] [[اسلام آباد]]۔

[[امریکہ]] میں جڑواں بچوں کی شرحِ پیدائش 1000 میں سے تقریباً 33 [[ولادت|پیدائشیں]] جڑواں افراد کی ہوتی ہیں۔<ref>Martin, Joyce A.; Hamilton, Brady E.; Osterman, Michelle J.K.
