Happy New Year! Hope you are doing well and safe. It's time to update you regarding Wikimedia Wikimeet India 2022, the second iteration of Wikimedia Wikimeet India which is going to be conducted in February. Please note the dates 18 to 20 February 2022 of the event. The submissions has opened from 23 December until 23 January 2022. You can propose your session here. We want a few proposals from Indian communities or Wikimedians. For more updates and how you can get involved in the same, please read the second newsletter

Invitation to organize Feminism and Folklore 2022 ترمیم
Dear Ulubatli Hasan/وثق 2022ء,
You are humbly invited to organize Feminism and Folklore 2022 writing competion. This year Feminism and Folklore will focus on feminism, women biographies and gender-focused topics for the project in league with Wiki Loves Folklore gender gap focus with folk culture theme on Wikipedia.
You can help us in enriching the folklore documentation on Wikipedia from your region by creating or improving articles based on folklore around the world, including, but not limited to folk festivals, folk dances, folk music, women and queer personalities in folklore, folk culture (folk artists, folk dancers, folk singers, folk musicians, folk game athletes, women in mythology, women warriors in folklore, witches and witch hunting, fairy tales and more. Users can contribute to new articles or translate from the list of suggested articles here.
Organizers can sign up their local community using Sign up page and create a local contest page as one on English Wikipedia. You can also support us in translating the project page and help us spread the word in your native language.

International Mother Language Day 2022 edit-a-thon ترمیم
Dear Wikimedian,
CIS-A2K announced International Mother Language Day edit-a-thon which is going to take place on 19 & 20 February 2022. The motive of conducting this edit-a-thon is to celebrate International Mother Language Day.
This time we will celebrate the day by creating & developing articles on local Wikimedia projects, such as proofreading the content on Wikisource, items that need to be created on Wikidata [edit Labels & Descriptions], some language-related content must be uploaded on Wikimedia Commons and so on. It will be a two-days long edit-a-thon to increase content about languages or related to languages. Anyone can participate in this event and editors can add their names here. International Women's Month 2022 edit-a-thon ترمیم
Dear Wikimedians,
Hope you are doing well. Glad to inform you that to celebrate the month of March, A2K is to be conducting a mini edit-a-thon, International Women Month 2022 edit-a-thon. The dates are for the event is 19 March and 20 March 2022. It will be a two-day long edit-a-thon, just like the previous mini edit-a-thons. The edits are not restricted to any specific project. We will provide a list of articles to editors which will be suggested by the Art+Feminism team. If users want to add their own list, they are most welcome.
